Introducing GT7000 Tellus, a rack-mountable FTIR gas analyzer

Gas analysis is increasingly embedded in larger measurement systems and operating workflows. In applications such as process gas analysis, emissions monitoring and carbon capture, a gas analyzer must operate reliably as part of continuous or repeated measurement routines, not as a separate task.

GT7000 Tellus is a rack-mountable FTIR gas analyzer designed for easy integration into different application setups. It integrates into multi-instrument setups where stable operation and repeatable results are required over time.

Multi-gas analysis capability

FTIR-based gas analysis enables simultaneous measurement of multiple gases from a single sample. This is relevant in applications such as CO₂ purity monitoring, where complex gas mixtures and low concentration levels must be analyzed accurately.

To align the analyzer with the conditions it operates in, it can be configured through options such as operation temperature, optical path length, pressure compensation and purge support.

Combined with Gasmet’s Calcmet software, the system supports the identification of unknown compounds and enables new gases or measurement ranges to be added without hardware changes. Concentration results are instantly viewable on Calcmet.

Based on proven FTIR technology

GT7000 Tellus builds on proven FTIR technology and continues the next-generation product family defined by GT5000 Terra and GT6000 Mobilis. The focus is on how FTIR-based gas analysis can be applied in field work, in testing, and in fixed system setups.

GT7000 Tellus is designed for applications where the analyzer is expected to run as part of an integrated setup, reliably and without interruption, over extended periods.

The measurement approach is based on a platform validated in demanding applications, where stability over time and repeatable results are required across different operating conditions.

Typical use cases

Typical use cases for GT7000 Tellus include process gas analysis, emissions monitoring, laboratory testing and validation, combustion research, carbon capture and CO₂ purity monitoring. As well as air quality monitoring in confined spaces in defense applications, where reliable gas analysis is critical for safe and stable operation.

Used in applications with continuous or repeated measurements, where gas analysis becomes part of routine measurement work, and stability under varying process conditions is a practical requirement.
