Gasmet UK joins the British Occupational Hygiene Society as a supporter

Gasmet UK is now a supporter of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), the organisation that champions worker health protection in the UK.

My work has always led me very close to the BOHS for many years – working with Occupational Hygienists and H&S Managers to implement Workplace Air Monitoring projects across lots of different industries. So it is personally incredibly satisfying to finally have Gasmet as a company in supporting the organisation” says Matthew Sumner, Managing Director of Gasmet UK

Over the coming year, the Gasmet team plans to join BOHS regional meetings and webinars, and to attend the BOHS Annual Conference in Chester next year.

Gasmet’s part in this community is the measurement technology. Our portable FTIR gas analyzers are used in workplace air monitoring to give hygienists real-time results on site, rather than relying only on samples sent to a laboratory. The GT5000 Terra can measure up to 50 gases at the same time and can identify unexpected gases against a reference library of more than 5,000 compounds, which helps when tracing leaks, odours or unlabeled containers.

Gasmet’s Group company Nederman is already a long-term supporter and active member of BOHS.
