Key Benefits
- Certified system fully complies with EU EN 1948-1:2006 standard
- Sampling techniques facilitate easy sample handling and analysis
- Sampling of dioxins, furans and other persistent organic pollutants (POPs)
- Easy operation and low cost of ownership
- Rugged design

長期取樣的解決方案
The system is a comprehensive solution designed for long-term, isochronous sampling of hazardous organic compounds in industrial and domestic waste incineration plants. In addition to dioxins, the system is capable of sampling furans and other persistent organic pollutants (POPs), such as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).

技術亮點
- Automatic isocurrent sampling according to EN1948-1 / TS 1948-5
- Dilution method makes sampling easier to handle
- Designed for industrial applications, especially waste incineration
- MCERTS Certification Solutions
- Minimum dioxin and dioxin-like substance concentrations can be sampled
- Sampling up to 6 weeks
- Allow remote access and system control
Technically designed and purpose-built
Today, the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) and some industry-specific BREF/BAT documents require dioxin monitoring. The GT90 Dioxin+ is designed to meet these limits and to minimize dioxin and dioxin-like substance concentrations in samples from harsh industrial environments.
Unmatched performance
The system has been performance tested and verified to measure down to 0.0003 – 0.252 ng I-TEQ /m³. The system can withstand dust loads up to 150 mg/m³ and speeds up to 30 meters per minute without affecting performance.
Reliable Dioxin Sampling Methods
The system utilizes a dilution method in accordance with EN 1948-1. Thanks to the heated sampling tube and dilution method, the system operates without the effects of condensation. After the sampling period, the dry filters are shipped to an accredited laboratory for analysis. Dry samples are easier to transport to the laboratory because they do not condense, and the dry sampling method is also more reliable.
Features take sampling to a new level
This reduces the need for probe unit maintenance and ensures that no contaminants enter the system. The system can also be equipped with remote access and control, allowing operations such as remote calibration, leak testing and data downloading.
Low temperature for sampling dust
In flue gas, dioxins are primarily absorbed on particles, but they also evaporate in the gaseous phase. During sampling, the flue gas is cooled with dilution air to ensure that the majority of the gaseous dioxins are absorbed on the particles. At such low temperatures, further chemical reactions (emission) or synthesis (production) are impossible, ensuring reliable results.
GT90 Dioxin+ Edition
Two versions are available: standard and compact. The standard version has two probes and is particularly suitable for long flue diameters. The compact version has a single probe and is more suitable for shorter flue diameters. Both versions are MCERTS-certified and provide high-quality measurements.
GT90 Dioxin+ System Overview
The system consists of a heated sampling probe unit, heated tubing, and a control cabinet. The system comes standard with a titanium probe tube and barrel. For particularly harsh measuring point environments, we can optionally offer a titanium heating converter and sampling probe unit valve. In this case, all materials in contact with the sample gas, from the probe tube end to the barrel, are also made of titanium.

Dioxin Sampling Requirements at Waste Incineration Plants
In December 2019, a document on the best available techniques (BAT) for waste incineration plants was published under the Industrial Emissions Guidelines. This document sets new BAT emission limits for dioxins and dioxin-like substances, such as PCBs. The BAT emission limits are intended to provide a framework for authorities to set plant-specific emission limits. You can read a more in-depth report here: BAT for Waste Incineration Published – Key Findings from Emission Monitoring.
