Gasmet™ CMM  features a CVAF spectrometer with integrated high temperature converter to effectively transform different mercury compounds to elemental mercury. Intense radiation in UV range (at 254 nm)  from a mercury lamp is then directed to the sample gas. Fluorescence of atomic mercury in the sample gas is then measured at the same wavelength enabling exceptionally low detection limits.
