Gasmet Technologies launches new DX4040 Portable FTIR Gas Analyzer
Gasmet Technologies introduces its newest portable FTIR Gas Analyzer, the DX4040. This successor to well-known DX4030 gas analyzer is a complete redesign tailored to meet users’ requirements. The DX4040 comes with a 200 gas library for identification and accurate analysis of gases in part-per-million concentrations. Up to 25 gases can be measured simultaneously, and the selection of these gases from the 200 gas list is easy with an intuitive touch screen display.
The portable FTIR gas analyzer weights 12 kg including batteries and features a patented GICCOR interferometer which is shock and vibration resistant, operates in any orientation and scans the infrared spectrum 10 times per second. The all-new design of the DX4040 features a smart Lithium-ion battery with charge indicators on the analyzer front panel and handheld computer.
Wireless Bluetooth communication between the analyzer and a handheld computer running Calcmet Lite software is complemented by an RS-232 serial cable for environments where wireless networks may not be used. The rugged IP67 classified handheld computer itself has been upgraded to a more powerful model with clear large display, integrated GPS and digital camera for documenting measurement sites and wireless connectivity with WLAN and 3G network adapters.
